This week has been the worst in Prima Uno’s history and Tuesday was my worst day at work.
On Tuesday 21st of September we lost a friend and colleague. Allan Hall who has worked for us since November 2016 lost his battle against cancer on Tuesday morning.
Allan has been a wonderful friend to me personally and a great asset to Prima Uno. He has trained and mentored many people at Prima Uno young and old. Always with a smile on his face even when diagnosed with cancer he battled on. He fought this awful disease to the very end. Allan was positive throughout his illness and from the minute he was diagnosed, a true inspiration.
Allan was a pleasure to be around and work with. He had a great sense of humour, and we shared many laughs. We loved listening to his stories about his band or life in general. Allan was well known for his extensive knowledge and Primavera skills, a Primavera subject matter expert who once worked for Oracle. Over the years Allan worked on some very high-profile projects for Prima Uno and also on some huge forensic planning cases. He will be a huge miss to Prima Uno and myself. I will miss the laughs, jokes and also his friendship. The only consolation is that Allan is no longer suffering and is no longer in pain.
At this time, we are thinking about Jo, Allan’s children and family.
Prima Uno will be donating to Eden Valley Hospice and the Henderson Suite at West Cumberland Hospital. Allan spent his last few weeks being cared for at Eden Valley Hospice Carlisle and had a lot his treatment on the Henderson Suite at West Cumberland Hospital.
Rest in peace Allan, your legacy will live on at Prima Uno and also with the knowledge that you shared and passed onto people and colleagues over the years.
We at Prima Uno will miss you and a lot of us that worked with you will be forever grateful for enhancing our lives and our careers.
Till we meet again my friend.
