Charlotte Trafford is joining our team

Prima Uno are delighted to start 2024 with the news that Charlotte Trafford is joining our team.  Charlotte is part of Prima Uno’s strategic plan and has joined the team as Business Development and Recruitment Manager.

Charlotte has experience in recruitment and business development in the nuclear sector and project controls.  She will be a great addition to our growing team and will be helping us recruit for the new long frameworks we have starting this year.

Prima Uno plan to recruit more project controls, project and programme managers to work on the new contracts but also will be recruiting new apprentices and graduates.

We will be making further announcements about new leaders and managers within the executive team, as well as new Head of Training joining us in the coming months to run the UK Centre of Excellence in Cumbria, Dounreay, Warrington and Oxford.

Prima Uno have recently secured new contracts with Dounreay and Managing Director Sarah Purdham been named on the Team for Community Nuclear Power.

We currently have long term framework contracts with Nuclear Waste Services (NWS), Dounreay, Nuclear Transport Solutions (NTS), UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA), Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) and contracts with many Tier 2 organisations supporting nuclear, civil, rail and local authority sectors.

Sarah Purdham said: “Due to the rapid growth of the business in the last few years, it is necessary to move up a gear once more to cater for new clients, projects and long-term frameworks won. Having someone with Charlotte’s reputation and credentials assists us further, thus enabling us to grow sustainably for the future. Charlotte will be a great addition to our team”.

The Company policy is to employ as many local people as possible to support our projects across the UK. Prima Uno will be launching a new Apprentice and Graduate scheme soon and will be accredited to provide ECITB training by spring 2024.
