Hello from Sarah,
Welcome to our spring newsletter. We have galloped into spring after a busy start to the year.
We have welcomed and gave job offers to seven new people from January to present date starting with our lovely Charlotte Trafford who has hit the ground running undertaking business development and recruitment for Prima Uno.
New estimators, planners, cost engineers and project controls professionals joined our growing team to work on our projects across the UK.
We have also started working with estimating, planning and risk management SME business as well as forging new relationships with larger clients and partnerships with Community Nuclear Power (CNP), Infosys, Mace and Tetra Tech.
With plans to move offices at the end of the year and kick start our apprentice and trainee scheme we will have a busy year!
Exciting times for us with Prima Uno embarking on some new historic and long-term framework contracts across the UK in new sectors such as the UK’s first small modular reactor project based out of Teesside and existing work on nuclear decommissioning, defence, nuclear fusion, water/utilities and rail.
Thank you for being part or following our journey.

Events
As we enter the second quarter of 2024, we’ve had the pleasure of attending some great events in recent months. From networking to showcasing Prima Uno’s expertise, we’ve been actively engaging with industry partners.
Our regular participation in the BECBC meetings has helped us to stay up to date on industry trends, make new connections and contribute to collaborative efforts in the Cumbria business community. We also attended In-Cumbria’s International Women’s Day event, which was a great opportunity to celebrate women in Cumbria and recognise their contributions to our industry.
We then took part in the Bidding for Sellafield event in Carlisle and the Supply Chain Network event in Cartmel. Both providing valuable networking opportunities and potential business leads.
Lastly we attended the Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster (BECBC) Professional Services Showcase Event where we showcased Prima Uno’s services and expertise.

Looking ahead, June will be our busiest month with the Meet the Buyer event in Glasgow and the NDA Group Supply Chain Event, alone with our continued participation in the BECBC meetings.
If you hear about any events or opportunities that you think would benefit our company, please share them with us. Your input is important to our continued success.
